Roots and Roses: Growing Community at Shelley White Baseball Field

Neighbors, families, and young volunteers came together at Southcrest’s historic Shelley White Baseball Field for a hands-on beautification day. Kids learned planting and pruning, painted over graffiti, and helped brighten the grounds through the White’s Legacy rose-bush effort. Guided by community leaders, the crew added flowers, cleaned up, and shared food and fellowship — small actions building a stronger, greener ballpark for seasons ahead.
